Our garages are where we store a lot of our household items we don’t want to be seen lying around the house. From our seasonal clothes that need storing away, to tools and cleaning products, the garage can quickly become a catch-all, and for this client, it was time to organize this chaotic space.
To begin the process of creating a more functional garage, our team implemented long maple cabinets to start. The maple color helped to brighten this otherwise dark garage a great deal, and behind each door were varying shelves and sections to perfectly store away bins of clothes, tools, and unused appliances. The large cabinets allow for varying heights of shelves, helping to customize each cabinet for the different items stored away.
In addition to the long maple shelves, we installed shorter overhead cabinets above the sink - ideal for storing cleaning supplies and more frequently used tools for convenient use. For better organization, we placed drawers below the countertop to store smaller items so everything had a place in this new, bright garage.
